|SCOPE OF LEGAL SERVICES OFFERED BY
Donald F. Conviser, a Professional Corporation
1. FULL SERVICE REPRESENTATION: The most common (but most expensive) form of representation, in
which the attorney handles the entire case on behalf of the client.
Please see our companion website, www.conviser.net, for a more detailed description of full-service
representation along with reasons why people might choose to have Mr. Conviser provide them full-service
The escalating cost of legal services has priced many people out of traditional retainer-based full-service
legal services and driven them into the Courts in Pro Per (representing themselves), clogging the Courts
with inept paperwork and confused litigants, too often producing bad results in court or settlement, while
substantially increasing the time, effort and stress required to bring a case to its conclusion.
We offer two alternatives to Full-service representation and Pro Per lack of representation:
2. UNBUNDLED LEGAL SERVICES: A far less costly option, where the attorney provides legal assistance,
including case-review, consultation, advice, discovery help, document preparation and hearing preparation, to
people who are handling their own cases (in "Pro Per"). Unbundled Legal Services are commonly sought by
people who chose to represent themselves or who can't afford full-time representation, but need guidance.
This form of services minimizes legal expense while providing the advantage of expert legal assistance when
Mr. Conviser provides the same quality of services to people who seek his unbundled legal services that he
provides to our full-service and limited-scope clients.
Please see our companion website, www.conviser.net, for a more detailed description of unbundled legal
services, reasons why people might choose to have Mr. Conviser provide them unbundled legal services, and
situations in which Mr. Conviser's unbundled legal services can assist them.
3. LIMITED SCOPE REPRESENTATION: Expert Representation in portions of a case where the client is
unable to adequately self-represent and would benefit from legal representation, while the client handles the
balance of the case. Limited Scope Representation is commonly sought by people handling their own cases
in Pro Per who have issues or matters in their cases that they are ill-equipped to handle themselves.
This form of representation is less costly than full-service representation.
Mr. Conviser provides the same quality of services to people who retain him on a Limited Scope basis that he
provides to our full-service clients.
Please see our companion website, www.conviser.net, for a more detailed description of Limited Scope
Representation, reasons why people might choose to have Mr. Conviser provide them Limited Scope
Representation, and issues which might arise in a Divorce or Family Law case which may require Limited
